Well, while I was still debating if I really wanted a Switch 2 on release day or not, since many things started to bother me, in the end, the excitment just took over. But, I've already heard that it was a "Bomb-omb Battlefield" out there online to pre-order one at Wal-Mart and Best Buy, both out of stock here in Canada since the pre-order started at midnight there. But Gamestop was only starting at noon online, OR when the store opened physically if I was able to get there (10AM for us). Unfortunately, I was still working, BUT my wife was not this morning. So I've sent her to make the pre-order for me. When she arrived, there was a small line-up of 10 persons or so, but she managed to get to the counter really quickly, and for a deposit of $300, I was able to pre-order one! And not a moment too soon, I went and checked Gamestop.ca at noon, and the site was put in a virtual waiting line. And few minutes later, out of stock there too. I hope nothing wrong will happen with my pre-order and that I'll be able to get it Day 1!
In any case, with the Switch 2 now coming at my place in June, that will mean I'll be able to continue talking about the Switch family for a while still. So more videos, more blog posts, more games to complete and an evergrowing backlog that will just engulf me into the void. I'll need to update how I will organize my collection on my Google Sheet, maybe with 2 tabs for each of the Switch. I also can't wait to see if my theory is right and that both Switch 1 and Switch 2 can both be Primary consoles at the same time. We may have the answer for that mystery at the end of April, when they release the Digital Game Card update for Switch 1. To be continued...
