It's not because the Switch 2 is out that I will stop buying new physical games for the Switch 1. Even more since now most 3rd party games seem to release as Game-Key Card on Switch 2, so if the same game is releasing as a standard physical release on the Switch 1, this is what I'll be buying, even if it's the lesser version. So, as such, here's what I've got, both from VGP:
-Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition
-Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
The first one was on my digital wishlist for a while since I've missed the release for LRG back then. But to my surprise, VGP just received some stock of it, so I was able to get my hand on a physical copy. As for the second, this is a remastered of an old PS2 Megaten game that I owned back then, but never had the time to play (not much has changed today unfortunately). This is the game that also got a Switch 2 release, but as a Game-Key Card. While I'm not 100% oppose to that format if there's nothing else available, since I believe there's still a little bit more value than full digital (I already got Bravely Default Remastered and Yakuza 0 that way), like I said above, if there's a Switch 1 version fully physical, this is the way I will go. I hope more Switch 2 game card formats than 64GB make their appearance soon so that 3rd party brings more full physical games to Switch 2...
