What I did in the game: Zelda Notes Navigation 100% completed.
The One Picture I have taken: Stats tab in My Play Data section of Zelda Notes, which show pretty much everything, including my name and the DLC Quests from what I'm counting.
So, here I am, few weeks in with the Switch 2, with Fantasy Life i, Cyberpunk, Yakuza 0 on the table. And yet, the game that I wanted to play the most is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Pack. One thing to know, I've already completed this game at its release...well, if you don't count the Korok Seeds that is. I did all the Shrines, all the Quests, all the DLC contents and had a blast...BUT getting 900 Koroks Seeds in a giant open world, without any hints on how many you have left in an area...yeah, no thanks. Even trying to do it using online guide was such a pain, I was more than happy to move on after doing everything but that.
So here comes the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Better resolution, 60 fps! It's all great...but, for me, the thing I wanted to test the most was the Zelda Notes. Being part of the Nintendo Switch App, its Navigation feature allow you to find everything you're missing in the world. Take it as an interactive Strategy Guide. No need to use convulated way on the internet to try to track everything, the App trim all the fat for you and point you in the right direction, GPS style. They even added 125 new things to find on the map in the form of Voice Memories, which give you more in-depth description of Hyrule and its world. Could it have been directly on the game itself? Sure, but besides that, the app is just perfect for me. I don't believe it was possible to find all 900 Koroks without a guide anyway. So why not use the best one around now?
In any case, my Navigation inside the Zelda Notes is now 100% completed, and it was quite a joy to go back to Hyrule. Now I think I want to finally start Tears of the Kingdom for real, which I was always postponing because of that feeling that it will be a second Zelda game I would not be able to truly 100%. Now that it's not a problem anymore, it's time to try it...or not, I'll see...
