UPDATE: Well, it seems they DID announce the game for North America too! In fact, as of today, you can now preload the game on your console for next week release by pre-ordering it on the eShop! So it seems I'll be back in action making new Groove Coaster videos soon...
OLD POST: Totally missed the news but Taito announced a week ago the release date for Groove Coaster Future Performers. It will be July 31, only in Japan so far. Still wishing for a surprise shadow-drop in North America next week too, since I'm planning to buy everything with my NA account, but so far, no word about it. In the meantime, here's the video they've released last week announcing the release date:
