This is the 7th Jaleco NES retro release on the Switch (8 if you count The Last Ninja, which was released under a different label than JALECOlle Famicom Ver.), the title seems to imply this is a sequel to the first Sayuuki World, which was a Famicom/NES port of Wonder Boy in Monster Land. But this time (and to my knowledge), it seems to be a whole original game with a touch of Mega Man, where after the initial level, you go through every others in the order you want, and you get a new power after each boss you beat. You also have a basic leveling up mechanic, where the more Gourds you get, the more Life Points you have. It's a fun, if not very basic, game that you can finish in one sitting. It was released in the West back then as Whomp 'em with the usual sprites-swap we know from this era. In cany case, 3 more games to go in this series before the end.
