What I did in the game: 100% completed.
The One Picture I have taken: Map section of the Pause menu.
A small Metroidvania with an unique concept. Every 30 seconds, you die and go back to your previous checkpoint. If you reach another checkpoint, the 30 seconds counter reset. The concept in itself is great, and reminded me of Minit. Though unlike Minit, I don't feel that 30 seconds time limit is put into good effect. I was never pressured in my exploration because there were checkpoints everywhere. And during the boss, time freeze. So that whole time limit is just smoke and mirror. So all that's left is the Metroidvania gameplay, and something just felt off in the game. Controls are really not as tight as I would want a platformer to be. Wall jump is the most awkward thing ever in a Metroidvania. It really just works and nothing else. Finally, the story is really non-sensical to the point where it would almost have been better to have no story at all. Overall, an average Metroidvania that gets a few bonus points because of its unique gimmick, but really barely because said gimmick is not really well developped. Not recommended.
