Kirby And The Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World - Main Game and Star-Crossed World 100% completed

What I did in the game: Main Game and Star-Crossed World 100% completed.

The One Picture I have taken: Inside Kirby's House, where we can see the proof of 100% for the main game (first big picture on the wall on the right side) and the proof of 100% of Star-Crossed World (first figure on the fireplace, the left-most one).

So, while I was completing Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo released their Switch 2 version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, one of the best Switch 1 game, now at 60 FPS (in most place, some long-distance enemies still walk in a jerky-way) and with higher resolution. To be frank, the original game was already amazing-looking enough, so if it was just for that, I wouldnt have upgraded. The main even for me here was the Star-Crossed World, a new DLC campaign exclusive to this version. So was it worth it? I think so yes, but barely.

What you get is 12 new levels, 2 in each main world, and they all bring a "Crystal" theme to the existing levels. Now, it's been a while since I've 100% the base game, so I don't remember how much different those new remixed levels are, but I feel they are bringing you to whole new places inside those levels. Though, since they all have the same crystal-theme, I feel that there's less variety. Bowser's Fury this is not, you're truly getting 12 more levels that play like the base game. Though they're all fun to play, and even bring some new Kirby's mouthful transformation. You have 120 things to collect along those levels (compared to the 300 in the base game, so yeah, it's a little more than 1/3 of the experience), but you only have one new boss, the last one, which I was disappointed at first, but turned out great during its second form. You also get afterward a new arena battle, and 2 new page of figures to collect. Once you have done all that, you have 100% the DLC.

So, my verdict, if you have never played Kirby and the Forgotten Land, this is an easy recommendation, but if like me you're only there for the DLC, the price for the upgrade might be a little high for what is basically a 6 hours experience to 100%. I still think it was worth it in the end, but for those who are on the fence, maybe wait for a sale (if it ever happens). One final thing, shout out to the soundtrack of this DLC, which was really stellar. It may be why this DLC got some extra points for me.
