They're finally here! After much delay, I finally got my Play-Asia order...with a nice little gift of CAN $35 in custom fees. Oh well, it happens sometimes, I was the unlucky draw I guess.
In any case, Varlet is the next B-Tier Furyu JRPG on Switch, and I just love them. I'm currently playing Reynatis, and I love it for all the craziness as well as cheapness and jank it has. You know, those PS2 JRPG that were trying something different, and they could because they were not crazy high budget, well this is Furyu for me. I'm getting tired sometimes of this generations in gaming where you're either a AAA or an indie, with nothing in between. I miss the B-Tier games from the PS2 era.
Also here, Shuten Order, the next game from Too Kyo Games, the mind behind Danganronpa. Like many of their others projects like World's End Club or Master Detective Archives, it got mixed reviews I believe, but like Furyu, I just love this team, and the trailer was just perfect for me. Finding your murderer in the afterlife, totally my style!
Anyway, that's it for now, I'm waiting for a big physical arrival in the next few days fromm VPG with four more Switch 1 games. Even with the Switch 2 here, we're far from the end of the Switch 1...
