Arrival of the day from VGP, the complete Trilogy Boxset for Atelier Ryza DX on Switch. This asian release is the only way to get it physically on Switch from what I can gather. So, let's talk about the elephant in the room. I already had the original trilogy physically on Switch, I even remember having to hunt them down for some high money back then. So yeah, at first, it seems like a waste of money (and it clearly is in a way). Plus, if I had played the games already, my save datas would not even carry over. BUT for me, it was still worth it. 1: I didnt played the trilogy at all yet, so no lost progress here. 2: I went and checked and the price for the Season Pass on each game were still high. 3: Those DX versions have EVERY DLC from the original without having to buy them AND new contents in each game. So overall, I still feel it was worth it, but yeah, shame on Koei Tecmo to not give us any way to upgrade from the original to this at a lower cost. You can't even upgrade to the Switch 2 version for a small price. If you buy this, you're stuck with those very specific Switch 1 version. If you didnt bought the games yet and want them physical on Switch, it's a no-brainer, buy these. Else, well I guess it depends on a lot of factors. If I had already completed them, I sure would not restart from scratch just to experience the new content...
