And here it is! The game that almost became an Urban Legend in itself! Metroid Prime 4 was first announced in 2017, during the Switch 1 first year, and development was one heck of a ride, starting with Bandai Namco if I remember right, to then be scrapped and going back to Retro Studio. A journey of 8 years, and now it's releasing on both Switch 1 & 2 at the same time. And like all Switch 2 Edition game, the cart actually works on both systems, which is great if for some reason the Switch 2 is taken in the house, I can continue my progress on the Switch 1. Not that I plan to start it right away, but I needed to show support to Metroid, this series needs it! This is also the last big game from Nintendo for 2025, so it's like closing the year in a sense.
