Batman: Arkham Asylum - Story 100% completed

What I did in the game: Story 100% completed (not completing the Challenges for True 100%)

The One Picture I have taken: Mode Selection screen.

Next random game I decided to complete, it was my first time trying a game in the Batman Arkham series. And oh boy was I blown away. The game was just a masterpiece. Exploring the Arkham Asylum with your Detective vision was such a joy, the combat felt really smooth, there was tons of secret to find everywhere, and the game overall felt like a 3D Metroidvania. Story and characters were also really great, and the game ran like a charm on Switch. I know this is just a PS3 game, but I saw a lot of poor PS3 ports on Switch 1, and this one was top notch. Didnt even had to use the power of the Switch 2 to improve anything. Even the loading time was quick.

So yeah, the Story mode was a perfect game for me, and 100% completed that part (basically, solved all 240 Riddles). But to reach a true 100% save file, you then have to play the optional Challenges, and get the highest rank on each of them. It started fine, but quickly became a frustrating chore. The battle ones in particular, where you had to be perfect on everything you do, and sometimes even that was not enough, you also needed a little luck on your side to not break your combo. I was raging at my screen, almost throwing my controller at it. It's when I decided to stop. It was destroying what was a perfect experience and was making me hate the game. It reminded me why I've stopped chasing achievements/trophies back in the PS3 era and decided instead to just reach my own completion goals. So I decided to move on, and will surely do the same in the rest of the trilogy if the completion rate works like that. Only focus on story mode, and not on the awful challenges.
