What I did in the game: 264 Crowns. 7 Dark Moons. 100% Items. 999HP. 999 Coins.
The One Picture I have taken: Stage Select screen, the only thing we can't see is the Item completion rate.
What a nice indie surprise! Lovish is 2D action platforming game where you need to clear one-screen rooms in order to save the princess from the Devil King. Classic, except that the hero is just a total jerk who ditches his party in fear the princess might fall in love with them instead of him, and he plans to use the power of his helmet to force the princess into loving him. In between each stages, you have a random event where tons of things may happen, be it positive, negative or neutral, but most of them are really funny, and show how bad our hero really is.
Lovish is also a challenging game. You start with 200HP (lives), and you die in one hit (until you buy a certain item, then it's 2 hit). Every time you die, you lose 1HP. So you begin to stress about the fact that you might reach 0HP at one point and that it will end your game, but fear not. As one of the random even tells you, reaching 0HP is not the end of the game. Actually, you can get into negative HP. I'm guessing that the HP is more a criteria for some of the ending, but it will not prevent you from completing the game. Plus as you can see with my 999HP, there's way to grind it if you really want to.
Obviously, if you want to truly 100% the game, you'll have to do a lot more than clear every stages. Each one have 3 Crowns to get. One secret to find, one for beating the stage without hitting any enemy, and one for speedrunning. There's also 7 Dark Moons to find in ultra-hard stages which will give you access to a strong optional boss. The game is filled with stuff to do! And it plays great, the controls are really tight, which is a must for hardcore platformer! The chipthunes soundtrack is also really amazing! Overall, Lovish is really a perfect indie game. If you love gaming, it's a must in my opinion!
