What I did in the game: Game beaten.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen.
One of the two games in Hamster new line-up called Console Archives. While I'm paying for NSO, I was always not very found of the fact that there was no way to actual buy individual retro console game, that I could play at any time without an online check-up every week. It seems Hamster is going back to the good old days of Virtual Console. Ninja Gaiden II is already available on NSO, but I was more than happy to pay for an actual copy of it not linked to an online membership.
As for the game itself, it's a NES masterpiece, with cinematics in between levels, which were amazing for the time, even though I feel they're not as memorable as the first game. The NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy is also known for being insanely hard, with the second game being the easiest of the 3...and yet, I still find it a pain to complete. I love challenge, but I guess I'm just too old for Ninja Gaiden. I admit I've used save state to beat this one. Still was a fun ride. Now I can't wait to see what kind of crazy titles Hamster will relase for Console Archives. They've already announced some unique ones like NES Doraemon, UFO: A day in the life and even bringing full RPG like Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (which make me wonder why NIS gave the license to Hamster when they already have a collection with this game in it?), so I'm really hopeful for the future.
