What a weird EGG Console release it was. From what I understand, it was some kind of promo disk or something for the MSX2. This is a tiny RPG à la Dragon Quest (like the first one on Famicom, where you only have 1 character, and the sprite doesnt even change when you go up, left or right. It's always facing forward). You go from town to town, beat dungeons, buy equipments, grind with random battles and high-encounter rate. But this can still be beaten in one sitting. I love those short retro RPG experience. And since it's so basic, the japanese language of the game was not a barrier at all. It seems that there's also 2 more games from this series on MSX2, if they're short-and-sweet like this one, I'll buy them for sure.
