New Arrival - Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta and Gex Trilogy

Today is the day I finally got Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta. This is the true official version from Falcom for Ys IV that they did SOOOOO many years after they licensed the SNES and PC-Engine version (and the PS2 remake after that too). All have different stories, so because of that, no Ys IV version was canon, until they released this on Vita and PS4 (well it was called Memories in Celceta or something, so because they were using the "Memoire" title like Oath in Felghana, they decided to rename it to Revelations in Celceta). The reason why it is important for me, other than the fact that I've never played it, is because this is another Falcom game XSeed/Marvelous is bringing back to the West, after years of thinking they would never do it out of stubbornness after losing the localization right to NISA. This is my light of hope that they will finally bring to the West the first 2 Chapters of the Trails of Cold Steel series, that got Switch releases in Japan, so they're just waiting to be localized using the XSeed script they did back then. And while we're at it, I also want Switch port for Ys VI and Seven, but this is more in the hands of Falcom for those.

In any case, the physical version comes in a big deluxe box with tons of goodies inside they I'll never unwrapped. But it gives a really cool picture! The game also doesnt need any Day 1 patch, it's fully on cart, with no update at all. So happy with this! Oh yeah, there's also the Gex Trilogy, but hey, it's more a bonus item in this order. I remember playing the N64 version of the second game back when I was a teenager and liking it enough to give this trilogy a try. Plus I just love collecting retro rereleases. It's also complete on cart, no update required. That's it for the purchases today, but I'm waiting for another big item, the Trilogy of the Castle of Shikigami games complete on cart. So far, only the second game got released in the west, so I can't wait to get this one physically, with all 3 games included.
