What I did in the game: Game beaten with Best Ending.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen.
With the release of the lost Spica Adventure not too long ago on the eShop, it reminded me that I needed to complete Parasol Stars. The Bubble Bobble series have gone into 3 different paths. One of them is more Bubble Bobble (I wish Bubble Symphony was not locked behind the Sugar Dungeon game, which I don't want to play), another was Puzzle Bobble, and this is the path I like the most, where it follows the True Ending of the original Bubble Bobble and where the dragons become kids at the end and you're playing as them in the following games. First in Rainbow Islands and finally Parasol Stars. The release on the eShop is the PC-Engine (Turbo-Grafx 16) version. I think there's no even an arcade version of this one. As the name implies, you use a parasol to battle your way through single screen stages (with a little scrolling here and there), like the original Bubble Bobble. Once you kill all enemies, you move on to the next stage. At the end of each world, like in Rainbow Islands, there's a boss. And like also the previous games in the series, there's a True Ending to reach by meeting certain conditions, which will give you access to two secret worlds. This game is just pure fun, and might be my favorite of the trilogy because of how simple and direct the parasol is to use, unlike the bubbles and the rainbows.
