What I did in the game: Game beaten.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen.
You can play the Game Gear version of Streets of Rage on your Switch 2 thanks to Yakuza Kiwami 3. I know many people have beef against Yakuza Kiwami 3, but quite frankly, I loved the game (you can see my completion post here), and one of the main reason why is that they over-delivered when it comes to retro Sega games. In fact, I may end up deleting a lot of Switch 2 games over time because of how much space they take, but I'll always keep games with retro content in them, so Yakuza Kiwami 3 will always be a keep for me.
As for Streets of Rage on the Game Gear, it's a very competent 8-bit handheld beat-em-up, with fantastic chip-thune by Yuzo Koshiro. Fun fact, for the last 6 years, Stage 1 music from this game is my cellphone ringtone. It only has 5 stages, and 2 characters to play with instead of the 3 from the Genesis game, but it's still a really fun experience. I wish there was an actual big Game Gear compilation available on Switch 1 or Switch 2, but in the mean-time, this will have to do.
