PowerWash Simulator 2 - Story Jobs completed

What I did in the game: Story Jobs completed.

The One Picture I have taken: Ending Screen.

One of my most anticipated Switch 2 game (I've calmed down a little since my September post, you can go read the update at the bottom of the post here) and I feel weird about loving this game so much. On paper, PowerWash Simulator is not a game I ever would want to give a chance. First, it's a "simulator" game, which plague the gaming sphere with low budget efforts. Second, this is just about throwing water at dirt. But, the first game totally hooked me. I think I was curious at first because of the Final Fantasy VII DLC, and was wondering how come a "simulator" game could get the attention of Square-Enix. And well, once I've started, I just couldnt stop. It's relaxing, satisfying and perfect for completionist watching all those progress bar and the count toward 100% always there on screen. I ended up buying all the DLC for the first game, and alongside Vampire Survivors and Stardew Valley, it was one of the 3 indie games that I was always coming back to chill.

So fast forward to now and my decision to make the Switch 2 more like a Switch 1 accessory. To me, PowerWash Simulator 2 feels like I'm just continuing my experience from the Switch 1. Like a big DLC that I can only play on Switch 2, and fell into the Legacy Series from the Switch 1 that I want to continue on Switch 2. The game is just more of the same with a few QoL improvements. Main one now is when you're almost done, the game is now aiming directly at which part is still dirty near to you, instead of you opening the menu and then selecting a part. Also, the scaffolding now have optional ladders on both side to climb, instead of going in the stairs and there's also a swing in which you go in all direction for better vertical cleaning. You also have a Home Base now, which you can decorate with stuff you buy, but I admit this is a section I didnt do much.

So yeah, what more can I say? It's more of the same and I love it. Took me 50 hours to complete the story, and now I can't wait to have even more DLC contents. It's really the perfect chilling game in between bigger games. And what's more, compared to my experience with the first one on Switch, that was crashing A LOT and got many bugs including one where it would just stop saving your progress, this one was perfect from begining to end. No crash, no bug, just a smooth experience. So if you like the first one, or if you just want something to relax, go buy it!
